PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray casting method, which can produce highly accurate metal castings having complicated shapes in a large number of kinds and a small quantity. SOLUTION: A pattern having the same shape as that of an object to be manufactured is made of wax. The wax pattern is sprayed with a non-combustible coagulating agent. After coagulation of the coagulating agent, the pattern is burned to make a cavity by melting down the wax. Molten metal is poured into the cavity. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
