PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary disc blade and a method of manufacturing the rotary disc blade, capable of improving both characteristics required for a main body and characteristics required for a blade tip part. SOLUTION: Flux tabs 2, 2 are provided on both end faces of the periphery of the disc main body 1. A welding wire is inserted between the flux tabs 2, 2 or in the vicinity thereof while the main body 1 is rotated. A build-up welding of the periphery of the main body 1 is performed by fusing this welding wire. After that, a blade part 7 is formed at the periphery of the main body 1 by gear cutting.
