PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for processing a press part capable of obtaining a flat outward cut end face without generating intermittent protrusions on the outward cut end face. SOLUTION: A blank 4 and a work part 6 connected by a connecting part 34 after half blanking a thin steel sheet by a die having a cutting blade of an edge shape and a punch of which the cutting blade is of an rounded shape and the size of the bottom face is larger than the size of the hole of the die are made. Next, the work is obtained by cutting off the work part 6 from the blank 4 by punching the work by the die 40 having the cutting blade 45 of an R shape and the punch 43 of which the cutting blade 44 is of an edge shape and the size of the bottom face is smaller than the size of the hole 41 of the die 40.
