PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning system of tap water and a cleaning apparatus of tap water which cleans and sterilizes tap water and is capable of utilization of the safe tap water. SOLUTION: The cleaning system comprises a filtration/sedimentation part, an ultraviolet irradiation part and a detection/monitoring part, therein, the removal of inorganic matter is performed on the filtration/sedimentation part and the sterilization is performed and microorganisms are made harmless by the ultraviolet irradiation on the ultraviolet irradiation part. On the detection/ monitoring part, the detection of the existence of the microorganisms is mainly performed and, on the basis of the detection, the alarm, the stoppage of tap water supply, further, the strengthening of sterilizing force on the ultraviolet irradiation part and so on are performed.
