PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable honeycomb-like air cleaning filter capable of efficiently collecting and removing dust and suppressing the propagation of bacteria and fungi in dust. SOLUTION: In the honeycomb-like air cleaning filter, the respective cells constituting a honeycomb structure are formed so that flute parts are formed of an electret polylactic acid nonwoven fabric and liner parts are formed of a biodegradable nonwoven fabric containing a natural antibacterial and antifungal agent. The ratio of the area occupying the biodegradable nonwoven fabric containing the natural antibacterial and antifungal agent of the liner parts in the entire inner surface areas of the cells is 30-70%. The honeycomb-like air cleaning filter is suitably biodegraded after use. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
