PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve calculation precision when calculating the average residence time of residence persons on the basis of the attending time of visitors and the leaving time of leaving persons. SOLUTION: A store entrance sensor 1 outputs a detection signal when detecting a visitor, and a store leaving sensor 2 outputs a detection signal when detecting a leaving person. A store entrance memory 11 accumulates entrance passage periods from a measurement starting time (business starting time) to the attending time of the attendances. A store leaving memory 12 accumulates leaving passage periods from the measurement starting time to the leaving time of the leaving persons. A store visitor counter 13 counts the number of the visitors, and a store leaving counter 14 counts the number of the leaving persons. A main calculation circuit 8 adds an accumulated leaving passage periods from the store leaving memory 12 and a value obtained by multiplying a numerical value obtained by subtracting the measurement starting time from a present time and the number of the residence persons at the present time together, subtracts accumulated entering passage times from the store entrance memory 11 and divides the calculated value by the number of attendants to obtain the average residence time of the visitors.
