PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems involved in a bookbinding method using gluing which, in the case of booklets for advertisement, is in most cases replaced with a bookbinding method using a wire (a stapler) because gluing, as compared with wiring, raises a problem of a production cost and an environmental problem in waste disposal. SOLUTION: In this index stepped bookbinding, a print such as an index is provided from the end of paper. Any desired number of printed matters treated in the same manner and in the same dimension as the above printed matter are put on top of the above printed matter above the index part shifted position while shifting the printed matters in the same direction so as for all the indexes to be viewable, followed by interfolding at the same position with a line glue or the like.
