<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet having good ink absorbability, having excellent image density, excellent in light fastness, water resistance and gas resistance in an image part, not generating blur with the elapse of time even under a severe environment. <P>SOLUTION: The ink jet recording sheet contains at least a compound represented by formula (1) [wherein Y is a 1-18C divalent connection group (which may have a substituent) optionally having a hetero atom incorporated therein, an N-containing cyclic structure or a three or more membered cyclic structure, X is a hydrogen atom, an alkoxy group, an aryloxy group, an oxy radical, a hydroxyl group or a group forming an imino group or a hydroxyimino group by hydrolysis, R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are each a hydrogen atom, a 1-18C alkyl group which may contain a saturated or unsaturated cyclic structure, a 1-8C alkoxy group or an aryloxy group and at least one of R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>is an alkoxy group or an aryloxy group]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
