<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for ink jet printed matter suitable for an outdoor use such the wall surface of a building, an car body or the like, having a favorite pattern, enhanced in fixability (density) of ink and excellent in weatherability, and the ink jet printed matter obtained thereby. <P>SOLUTION: An ink fixing agent layer (I) is formed on the surface of a substrate and a printing layer (II) is subsequently formed thereon by an ink jet system using an aqueous ink composition and, further, a clear coat layer (III) is formed thereon using clear coating. The ink fixing agent contains a resin (A) prepared by copolymerizing a monomer mixture, which comprises (a) a polymerizable unsaturated monomer containing at least one ionic functional group selected from a tertiary amino group, a quaternary ammonium base and a sulfonic acid group, (b) a nonionic polymerizable unsaturated monomer having a polyoxyalkylene chain and (c) other ethylenic unsaturated monomer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
