PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct pressure molten metal squeeze casting apparatus which directly secondarily pressurizes a molten metal filled in a mold by moving an upper die section vertically downwards from above and finally pressurize the metal by a lower die section. SOLUTION: The direct pressure molten metal squeeze casting apparatus comprises: the upper die section and the lower die section. The upper die section includes an upper spacer 44 coupled to an upper plate 16, an upper die 47, and an annular injection ring 50 of a product mold releasing means provided at a center clamped at the lower part of an upper knock-out cylinder 10. The lower die section includes a lower die 48 coupled to the upper part of a lower knock-out cylinder 9, and a side die 46 rotatably clamped at an assembling member 33 coupled to the die 48. The die 46 is linked to a side holder 3 coupled to a lower plate 1 via link members 40, 43. The lower die section is separated from the plate 1, and raised. When the lower die section is raised, the die 46 is automatically extended, while when the lower die section is lowered, the die 46 is automatically shrunk. The holder 32 coupled to the plate 1 is brought into close contact with the die 46, supported, and when the molten metal is squeeze-cast, the holder 32 resists against the pressure affecting to the die 46.
