PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the degassing efficiency of a vacuum degassing apparatus and to make the vacuum degassing apparatus compact by reducing the whole height thereof. SOLUTION: In the vacuum degassing apparatus for evacuating a degassing part 2 into which a liquid to be degassed is injected, the degassing part 2 is formed into a cylindrical shape and the longitudinal axis thereof is made almost horizontal.
