<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen generator which can avoid the increase in the size of its reaction apparatus due to a raw material supply means such as spray ejection. <P>SOLUTION: Hydrogen H is generated in a hydrogen generator 1 by the dehydrogenation of a hydrogenated derivative HA (for example, a saturated hydrocarbon) of an aromatic compound A (for example, an aromatic hydrocarbon) by contacting with a heated catalyst. The hydrogen generator 1 is equipped with a raw material storage part 14 to store the hydrogenated derivative HA and a catalyst bed 16 (for example, equipped with a communicating hole or the like) through which a hydrogen-containing gas can pass. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
