<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag capable of compactly keeping an airbag body in a wrapping area by a simple wrapping action. <P>SOLUTION: The airbag 10 comprises an airbag body 11, and a plurality of breakable wrapping strings 22 for preventing folding looseness. The airbag body 26 made to be in a generally rod shape by being folded comprises wrapping areas 27A, 27B blade-winding the wrapping string 22. The wrapping areas 27A, 27B are structured by arranging a uniting portion 29b at end portions 27Ab, 27Ba so as to enable preventing the plurality of wrapping strings 22 from getting loose. The uniting portion 29b is formed by winding blade-wound wrapping string 22 without displacing in an axial direction X of the folded airbag body 26. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
