PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elongate a life of liquid for finishing machine to reduce a cost for the liquid for finishing machine, by filtering foreign matters mixed in the high-viscosity liquid for finishing machine. SOLUTION: This finishing machine 1 which carries out processing using a mineral working fluid comprises the filtering device 11. The filtering device 11 is constituted of a filter part 12, a pump 14 and the like. A filtering member 44 filled with a predetermined amount of filter media 49 formed of porous grains, and a rough-grained matter filtering member 45 formed of a mat member of rough net type are encapsulated in a filter body 27 detachably mounted to an inside of the filter part 12. The filter media 49 are subjected to lyophbic process for preventing liquid in the mineral working fluid from being absorbed into the filter media 49. Thus, when the pump 14 forcedly feeds the mineral working fluid in which the foreign matters are mixed to the rough-grained matter filtering member 45 and the filtering member 44, the filter media 49 allow only the mineral working fluid to pass, and the foreign matters are filtered inside holes of the filter media.
