PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nail clipper in which it is unnecessary to reverse a pressure lever, wherein it is unnecessary to place a long hole in an upper blade in order to slide a slider, and the slider does not come off by being mounted on a case. SOLUTION: A nail clipper body 1 is mounted within the case 3, the pressure lever 2 is attached rotatably to the tip portion of the case, the slider 4 is mounted on the case 3 so that it can slide in a length direction on the nail clipper body, both the blade edges of the nail clipper body is closed via the slider 4 by pressing the pressure lever 2 when the slider 4 is slid forward, the slider 4 does not transmit the pressing pressure of the pressure lever 2 to the nail clipper body 1 when the slider 4 is slid backward, and therefore, the pressure lever 2 is folded in the case 3 direction.
