PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea leaf feeder for tea preparation having a simple structure, small parts counts and little failure rate at a low cost by receiving tea leaves scattering downward to the inside of an endless conveyor belt at the outlet end of the endless conveyor belt, flowing out the tea leaves toward the outside of the endless conveyor belt, receiving the tea leaves and accurately feeding the tea leaves to a tea preparation machine in the following process. SOLUTION: The tea leaf feeder for tea preparation comprises the endless conveyor belt, a tea leaf recovery plate and a connection unit. The endless conveyor belt comprises a large number of buckets for feeding tea leaves. The tea leaf recovery plate receives tea leaves scattering downward to the inside of the endless conveyor belt from upper gaps made by reverse rotation of the buckets at the outlet end of the conveyor belt and flows out the tea leaves to the outside of the endless conveyor belt from lower gaps made by reverse rotation of the buckets.
