<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate shape control method in cold rolling for estimating a roll profile from output of a shape detector located on an outlet side of a roller and being utilized for shape control of a rolled steel. <P>SOLUTION: In the shape control method, the roll profile is estimated so as to match the output from the shape detector located on an outlet side of the roller with a tensile force obtained from the rolling conditions for the purpose of preventing deformity in the plate shape due to roll profile variation, and then at least one control among three controls of coolant, vendor force and intermediate roll shift amount should be provided depending on that profile. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
