APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING ELECTROLYTIC WATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing electrolytic water in which gaseous chlorine produced from electrolytic water is efficiently removed with activated carbon and users hardly receive unpleasant feeling even if the gaseous chlorine is not completely removed.

SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing electrolytic water is provided with: an electrolytic cell 21 in which an anodic chamber 23 provided with an anode 25 and a cathodic chamber 24 provided with a cathode 26 are formed across a diaphragm 22 and water containing chloride ions is electrolyzed to produce the electrolytic water; a gas exhaust port 28 for exhausting the gaseous chlorine produced by the electrolysis; activated carbon 29 for adsorbing the gaseous chlorine in the downstream side of the gas exhaust port 28; and an exhaust port 30 for exhausting a waste gas after the gaseous chlorine is adsorbed in the downstream side of the activated carbon. The users hardly receive unpleasant feeling even if the gaseous chlorine is not completely removed with the activated carbon 29 by providing the gas exhaust port in the lower part or the rear part of an apparatus main body.
