PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain deformation of an irregular pattern formed on a disc substrate for improving transferability from a stamper to the disc substrate. SOLUTION: The mold device is provided with a fixing side mold part 20, a movable side mold part 21 disposed opposite to the fixing side mold part 20, the stamper 26 disposed on the fixing side mold part 20 and an outer peripheral ring 22 constituting a cavity 23 together with the fixing side mold part 20 and the movable side mold part 21. Air for releasing the mold is blown into the cavity 23 from the outer peripheral ring 22 side to remove the disc substrate 2 from the cavity 23. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
