PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cleaning frequency of a filter by extending a clogging period of the filter. SOLUTION: A dust collector 1 is formed into a shape having a dust collection chamber 1a formed by a top surface part 100, a bottom surface part 101 and side surface parts 102-105 and constituted of a housing 10 having an introducing port 106 and a discharge port 107 on the side of the top surface part 100, a plurality of baffle plates 11-15 provided on the downstream side of the introducing port 106 in the housing 10 and a filter 16 provided on the downstream side of these baffle plates 11-15 but on the upstream side of the discharge port 107. This dust collector 1 is provided in a discharge flow passage and a fluid to be filtered is introduced into the dust collection chamber 1a from the introducing port 106 toward a plurality of the baffle plates 11-15 and passed through the filter 16 to be discharged from the discharge port 107.
