The foldable drink carton (1) comprises two square surfaces (1a,1b) connected to each other and which have a common rib (2,2') formed by two fold seams of the carton located against each other. The drink carton with a pinch on the outer ends of the common rib between the two squares can be brought together to form a rectangular carton in one surface. The eight triangles from which the two squares of the drink carton are formed have a top angle of seventy-two degrees, as the result of which the side view of the carton is a regular rectangle.
