TEXTILE ARTICLES IMPREGNATED WITH ANTIBACTERIAL CONSTITUENTS

Empirically determined models allow the predetermination of the accurate amount and quality of modified zeolite (1) required to produce textile articles having a specific degree of antibacterial activity in accordance wi th the requirements for particular applications. Equations accurately predict t he relationship between the amount and spatial orientation of modified-zeolite- containing polymers of fibers (11) and the desired degree of antibacterial activity (10).
