PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of arching phenomenon of the hopper content. SOLUTION: A hopper 1 provided with two screw conveyors 2a and 2b in a bottom part thereof is located. The screw conveyors 2a and 2b are provided with screw blades 6a and 6b having the same pitch, and a driving motor 9a is fitted to a screw shaft 5a through a high-speed rotary driving mechanism 7c, and a driving motor 9b is fitted to the screw shaft 6 through a low-speed rotary driving mechanism 7d. The screw conveyors 2a and 2b are driven for rotation by the rotary driving mechanisms 7c and 7d to set the discharging speed of the screw conveyor 2a higher than the discharging speed of the screw conveyor 2b, and the humidified ash 4 distributed in the horizontal direction inside the hoper 1 is moved downward in the condition that the humidified ash 4 is deflected to a screw shaft 2a side. With this structure, the humidified ash 4 passes through a tilting part 1a under the hopper 1 without generating pressure-compaction thereof, and flows to the bottom part of the hopper 1.
