PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cutting a molding roller capable of correctly cutting the molding roller of polymer as desired without generating deformation, and securely cutting a polymer molding part to the surface of a core bar of the molding roller of polymer having the core bar. SOLUTION: To the molding roller 1 of polymer rotatable around a center axial line X, a cord 5 stretched in a perpendicular direction to the center axial line X is pressed to cut the molding roller 1 of polymer in a radial direction of it.
