PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely store punch dust generated when punch holes are bored as marks in a recording card into a tank. SOLUTION: This punch mechanism 17 is provided on a card reader to read data from the recording card MC to which data is recordable for boring the punch holes as marks in the recording card MC. It is provided with a punch part 18, the tank 20 to store the punch dust P punched, and a nozzle 19 to guide the punch dust P punched into the tank 20. The nozzle 19 is formed from the punch part 18 to the tank 20 in the form of a cylinder that is round or almost round, and L-bent. An inner surface of a bent part 191c is formed as a gently inclined curved surface to the punch part 18. The punch dust P is reflected by the curved surface of the bent part 191c toward the tank 20 to be stored in the tank 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
