PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystallization dephosphorization method ensuring a low cost of equipment and a low operating cost and capable of keeping a rate of dephosphorization stably high in a method for removing phosphorus in phosphorus-containing waste water containing phosphorus compounds. SOLUTION: Phosphorus-containing waste water containing phosphorus compounds is mixed with waste water discharged from a magnesium method exhaust gas desulfurizer, the pH of the mixed liquid is adjusted to 7.5-10 with an acid, ammonia water is added to the pH adjusted mixed liquid to adjust the ammonium ion concentration of the mixed liquid, and this mixed liquid is stirred to deposit crystals of a magnesium phosphate compound.
