FIELD: thermal engineering; water heating. SUBSTANCE: gas-fired heating boiler has furnace with gas burner, heat-transfer casing with water jacket, gas flue, and waste-heat flue. Heat-transfer spaces disposed inside water jacket are made in the form of vertical chutes contracting toward stack gas flow with their side walls inclined; front and rear walls of each chute have inward depressions for passing stack gases; each chute has lateral ducts providing intercommunication between adjacent parts of water jacket; gas burner is made of steel, 0.3 0.5 mm thick, and has fire surface with lateral slots in the form of through slits whose width is smaller than length by minimum ten times. EFFECT: simplified design, facilitated manufacture, enhanced capacity, efficiency, and heat-transfer intensity. 3 cl, 3 dwg
