FIELD: construction industry. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to structural members of protective barriers of stairs, hand-rails of balconies and other safeguards and can be used for attachment of vertical supports to horizontal floor. Support is attached to horizontal floor with the help of shoe and wedge. Wedge is entered into longitudinal groove of I-support between inclined wall of shoe and vertical support and is strutted off. Wedge is displaced by means of screw screwed into hole which axis is located on inclined aligned surfaces of wedge and inclined wall of shoe. Thread is cut only in inclined wall of shoe. EFFECT: simplified design, reduced time for machining and assembly of gear, enhanced reliability of attachment and free access to assembled gear. 1 cl, 3 dwg
