Tray is particularly useful for fractionating columns and features a number of device openings and disc-like closures above these openings, as well as a holding arrangement for limiting the extent to which the freely-moving closures open. Each holding element takes the form of a perforated disc and is provided with supporting legs on three sides, which, after tilting onto the plane of the disc, can be firmly secured to the valve tray in the usual manner. The fractionating columns are used in refining crude oil etc. |
