The control is for a feed-in device supplying bio-mass to a reactor and comprises a conical worm transporter (3) which successively pre-compresses and supplies material to a nozzle, which with a conical inlet further compresses and forms the bio-mass into the best possible tight strand (25). The control (18) comprises at least one control circuit (19,20) with at least one detector (29,32) which during operation records the value of the momentary load on the worm screw of the worm transporter. The detector emits a signal representing the load value and a regulator (28,33) compares the signal with a reference, which represents a predetermined axial effect of the conical worm. It emits a signal representing the observed deviation between the reference and the received signal. An adjustable feed resistance (5) then adjusts the load on the worm so that the deviation is reduced.
