DEVICE FOR REDUCTION OF TOXIC EMISSIONS AT DISCHARGE OF COKE FROM HORIZONTAL COKE FURNACES

FIELD: coke and chemical industry; reduction of toxic emissions at discharge of coke from horizontal coke furnaces. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes coke car movable along coke side and shelter connected with dust and gas collection system and made in form of diffuser with horizontal partitions located in lower end covering upper part of coke carrying car; mounted in upper end of shelter is collector which is connected with dust and gas collection system; mounted over perimeter of adjoining of shelter to walls of car and coke guide are horizontal and vertical suction air ducts; horizontal suction air ducts located along sides of coke car are made in form of air intakes of smooth suction and vertical air ducts located along side walls of coke guide are made as air intakes of variable flow rate in suction slotted hole. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of dust and gas collection; reduced usage of metals; low cost. 3 dwg
