PURPOSE: To provide a simple inexpensive range-finder capable of preventing erroneous range-finding by attaining correction for reducing the influence of a missing of the spots of light beams. CONSTITUTION: The range-finder is constituted of a light spot projecting part 3 projecting a spot luminous flux toward an object, a light spot receiving part 4 converging the reflected luminous flux from the object of the spot luminous flux and receiving the converged reflected spot light from the object, to output first and second signals, an IFIC 2 for inputting the first and second signals, to execute a prescribed ratio calculation and obtaining the intensity of the reflected light from the object based on the first and second signals and a CPU 1 for correcting the arithmetic result of a light quantity, when the arithmetic results of a ratio and the light quantity are in a prescribed, relation, to output a subject distance and outputting the arithmetic result of the ratio as the subject distance, when the prescribed relations are not obtained. |
