FIELD: packing. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to containers in form of box with pull lug. Container is formed by bending inwards upper sections of two opposite side walls of container to form cross ridge structure on upper end of container for closing upper end of container. Container is provided with pull lug containing essentially flat member in free state and provided with axially extending stalk with proximal end section adapted for gripping and pulling by user, and distal end section with support members extending crosswise relative to each side of stalk. Stalk and support members in the free state are located mainly in one plane. Method of opening of container provides separation of connection between contact surfaces of material of dry walls at one end of ridge seam or bending of ridge seam ends to form ridge seam of curved, or T-shaped or Y-shaped outline and application of tension force to proximal end of pull lug to separate connection between contact surfaces of wet walls in ridge seam. EFFECT: facilitated separation of pull lug from container wall and separation of ridge seam. 16 cl, 10 dwg
