CYLINDER ASSEMBLY OF HERMETIC COMPRESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder assembly for a hermetic compressor which reduces the noise and vibration generated when the compressor is driven.

SOLUTION: The cylinder assembly of the hermetic compressor is composed of a valve plate installed on the outside of a cylinder block in such a way as covering the open side of the cylinder and having a refrigerant discharge hole as a passage through which the refrigerant compressed by the cylinder is exhausted, a cylinder head installed in such a way as covering the outside of the valve plate for forming a refrigerant discharge chamber in the area to the valve plate, a discharge valve installed in a cantilever form between the valve plate and the cylinder head in such a way that the central part covers the refrigerant discharge hole, and a first stopper member to serve as a means to restrict the flow of the discharge valve and formed protrusively from the inner wall on the refrigerant discharge chamber side of the cylinder head in such an arrangement that the tail is located at a certain spacing from the forefront of the discharge valve.
