PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for regenerating and regulating a dye solution of a dye laser, which can operate on a minimum limit of a solvent quantity by reusing the solvent of the solution and the laser dye by discharging and replenishing the solution without stopping a dye laser system, and which improves the use efficiency of a dye laser system. SOLUTION: A method for regenerating and regulating the dye solution of the dye laser using the dye solution in which the laser dye is dissolved in the solvent comprises the steps of: separating the discharged dye solution into a deteriorated laser dye, not-deteriorated laser dye and the solvent; and regenerating and regulating the not-deteriorated dye laser and the solvent. An apparatus for supplementing the dye solution in a unit for replacing the deteriorated dye solution in the laser with a fresh supplementing dye solution comprises, monitoring a decrease in the output of the laser and the output of an exciting light source for exciting the laser to decide the deterioration of the solution, recovering the undeteriorated dye and solvent from the deteriorated solution to mix new laser dye and solvent, while verifying concentrations to conduct a dye regrowth to thereby generate a supplementing dye solution, and supplementing the dye solution.
