PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an LCD screen to be increased in size by protecting the LCD screen at a carrying time and providing easy handleability at an imaging time in an electronic camera device with the LCD screen. SOLUTION: A screen unit 3 having the LCD screen 23 is formed in a foldable structure in which the screen 23 is disposed opposite to a body 2, in the state that the unit 3 is folded for carrying with one and the screen 23 is directed toward the back surface side of an imaging unit 20 to the body 2 having the imaging unit 20. That is, the electronic camera device comprises: a hinge 6 foldable at the screen 23 at one surface side of the body 2; and a rotary unit 5 rotatable at the unit 3 to the body 2 via the hinge 6. The imaging unit 20 is provided in the unit 5 so that the body 2 and the unit 3 become the developing state that the screen 23 is folded oppositely to the screen 23 side at the carrying time, or the screen 23 is disposed at the back surface side to the unit 20 of the unit 5 at the imaging time.
