PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily select a composite color in selecting colors in color dialogue and to easily produce a colorful design by a computer system. SOLUTION: The method of multi-color production comprises a color generation means 2 for generating a numerated color, a non-linear filter 3 corresponding to the numerated color generated by the color generation means 2, and a color convertion means 4 for converting the value corrected by the non-linear filter 3 to a color. The above purpose is achieved by narrowing the region of primary colors in a color model by the non-linear filter 3 while widening the region of composite colors. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
