PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker which shortens times for removal of residual components and activation of catalyst in a configuration having multiple systems of hot air circulating passages with catalysts disposed therein. SOLUTION: Hot air outlet and inlet are provided in a heating chamber wall to form a hot air circulating air flow. Cooked matter is heated for cooking by the circulating air flow. An upper outlet is provided in the ceiling wall of the heating chamber, and a lateral outlet is provided in either of the side walls forming the four sides of the heating chamber. An inlet is provided in either of the side walls other than the side wall having the lateral outlet. An air volume ratio switching means is installed to switch the air volume ratio of hot air blown out from the upper outlet and the lateral outlet. Heat source are disposed near the upper outlet and the lateral outlet. Catalysts for oxidizing and composing smell or lampblack generated from cooked matter are disposed near the heat sources, and baking control means for activating the catalysts is installed.
