PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch two magnetic heads by using the small-sized driving means of a simple structure and small current consumption. SOLUTION: By arranging one swingable control plate 3 between two cam plates 1 and 2, swinging the control plate 3 from a neutral position to the side of one cam plate 2 through a driving shaft 6 by switching signals and positioning the upper end part below a cam roller 26, one cam roller 26 is blocked from following the cam surface 2a of the cam plate 2. Thus, only the other cam roller 22 follows the cam surface 1a of one cam plate 1, and when the cam roller 22 advances to the recessed part of the cam surface 1a, the magnetic head 23 on a tip side is lifted and brought into contact with a magnetic strip MA1 and a recording operation is performed.
