PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently collect document files constituting Web information from a network such as the Internet by improving a re-collecting process. SOLUTION: A Web collecting module 111, provided with re-collecting modes for performing re-collecting process of a document file group from a starting point address information once processed, i.e., a first re-collecting mode for newly collecting the document file group with the starting point address information as a starting point, a second re-collecting mode for collecting only document files not collected yet in the former collecting, and a third re-collecting mode for collecting only document files updated from the former collecting point of time, can specify in advance which re-collecting mode to be used based on setting information kept in a setting file 203. Thereby, it is possible to perform an optimum re-collecting process corresponding to the Web sites of collecting destinations or collecting aims, etc., and to perform re-collecting process efficiently.
