PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert the image of an object imaged in the distorted state to the image of the object imaged in the condition without distortion. SOLUTION: The coordinate position on the three-dimensional space is found by producing simultaneous equations with the coordinate position of each lattice point on the three-dimensional space as the unknown based on the condition of restriction that the distance between the external shape of the projection image 51 of a manuscript as the object of imaging and each lattice point virtually set on a model 101 of the manuscript is uniform in the horizontal direction, vertical direction and diagonal direction. Then by converting the value of pixels of the projection image to an image on the lattice points on the model 101 based on the found coordinate positions on the three-dimensional space of the lattice points of the model 101, the image of the object imaged in the distorted state is shaped in the condition without distortion. The method is applicable to the device for converting the image of the object imaged in the distorted state to the image of the object without distortion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
