摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a desired heat exchange quantity in both evaporation and condensation. SOLUTION: In a heat exchanger having an inflow side heat transfer pipe group 2a to enable a refrigerant to flow into a chamber demarcated inside a first header 3 and a second header 4 and an outflow side heat transfer pipe group 2b to enable the refrigerant to flow out of the chamber, and allowing the refrigerant to pass from the inflow side heat transfer pipe group 2a to the outflow side heat transfer pipe group 2b via the chamber, the chamber is partitioned in such a manner as a connection part of the evaporation outflow side heat transfer pipe group 2a to enable the refrigerant to flow out at the evaporation is narrower than a connection part of the evaporation inflow side heat transfer pipe group 2b to enable the refrigerant to flow in at the evaporation, and a passage wall 11 having a throttling passage 11a is interposed at a position on the leeward side.
