PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brace material easily fitted to a structure without loosening of a yarn bundle and forming a structure having excellent reinforcing effect. SOLUTION: This brace material 1 for reinforcing the structure 2 is equipped with a brace material body 4 formed by applying coating to the surface of a long form body 3 made by forming carbon fiber or Aramid fiber and fixing parts 5, 5 provided on both end parts of the brace material body 4 and fixed to designated positions of the structure 2.
