The package consists of a lower thermoformed panel (1) with cells between lower (6) and upper (8) surfaces, an upper cover with inner cell surfaces (13) in contact with the product, and a transparent synthetic film layer (5) to hold the lower panel and cover together. The lower panel is opaque with a coloured covering layer, and the transparent film layer is of shrink film.
