<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output system which can make the start of replenishment work for a member material having consumptiveness and a useful life precede, and can facilitate the discrimination of immediacy and contents of work by changing contents of an alert warning according to the allocation state of a request for outputting. <P>SOLUTION: An image output device 1a has a detection part 15 which detects a usable amount of the member material having consumptiveness and a useful life. A management device 2 has: a prediction part 23 which predicts a used amount of the member material; an information processing part 22 which generates a prescribed message to be presented to a user of the image output system if the predicted used amount is equal to or above a prescribed level as compared with a current remaining amount; a changing part 25 which changes the content of the message according to the possibility of an alternate output if a member material of the same kind is included in a plurality of output means; an image-forming part 26 which generates image data showing the prescribed message in a data format that the image output device 1a can process; and an alert warning part 24 which makes the image output device output the image data showing the prescribed message. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
