<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system in which appropriate measures can be taken easily and conveniently in the event of printer trouble, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The print system comprises a digital camera 10 with a control means and a printer 30 with a control means. The printer prints images, based on printing image data, etc., transmitted from the camera, and transmits its trouble information to the camera in the form that the category of the trouble is identifiable. The digital camera is capable of executing a data transfer operation for transferring the printing image data, etc., to the printer under the control of its control means. When the printer transfers the trouble information, the camera displays, based on the information, an indication for the trouble occurred, etc., and an instruction of a printer operation procedure for dealing with the trouble on a display, and provides these indications so as to exhibit the operation procedure with a sequence of images one after another in response to the trouble information from the printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
