<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device capable of improving visibility of a display panel to be displayed, for example, in the daylight. <P>SOLUTION: Each EL element corresponding to R (Red), G (Green), and B (Blue) is driven to emit light by driving power supplied from the driver. The R, G, B differ in the light emitting efficiency from each other, and R having a low light emitting efficiency needs emission at a level 100, therefore, when R is driven at a level 100, B requires a driving level of approximately 70, and G requires a driving level of approximately 50. Therefore, in the daylight, each EL element corresponding to B and G is also driven to emit light at the driving level 100.
