<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide composite elastic yarn for weaving and knitting, composed so that hydrophobic fibers are concentrated in a peripheral area of the yarn, and an elastic filament and hydrophilic fibers are positioned in the center of the yarn inside a matrix of the hydrophobia fibers, and to provide a moisture management elastic cloth made of the yarn. <P>SOLUTION: This composite elastic yarn has a transition region between the hydrophilic fibers concentrated in an area in which the elastic filament forms the center of the yarn and the hydrophobic fibers concentrated in the peripheral area, wherein both the hydrophilic and hydrophobic fibers exist in the transition region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
