<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater using an external heat collector wherein costs are drastically reduced even for a direct pressure type by removing application of regulations of the water supply law. <P>SOLUTION: A disconnecting means comprising a shut-off switching valve 43 and an atmosphere opening valve 44 are provided at a water inlet circuit 4 is provided, and its downstream side is treated as miscellaneous water. A switching-type pressure safety valve 10 is provided at a heat accumulation tank 2, and a shut-off switching valve 81 and a check valve 84 are provided in the neighborhood of the heat accumulation tank of an approach path 8a and a return path 8b of a heat collection circuit 8. At a heat collection operation, the shut-off switching valve 43 is closed to shut off water supply pressure, the pressure safety valve is operated, and then, the shut-off switching valve 81 is opened to operate a circulation pump 82. At hot-water supply from a hot-water outlet circuit 9, the shut-off switching valve 81 is closed, the pressure safety valve is deactivated, and then, the shut-off switching valve 43 is opened to activate the water supply pressure. Immediately after opening operation of a hot-water supply tap, hot water is immediately supplied by accumulated pressure of an accumulator 93, and opening of the hot-water supply tap is detected by a pressure switch 94. As a measure against failures of the shut-off switching valve 43, a bypass circuit 14 and a manual shut-off valve 15 are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
