PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge construction offering a stable rotating resistance by making smaller the tube shaped diameters of the main body member side and rotating member side in a hinge construction inserted to a metal shaft member by straddling to a tube portion of the main body side and the tube portion at the rotation side located on the same axis line, the diameters of tube-shaped members at the main body member side and the rotation member side are made smaller thereby obtaining a hinge construction from which stable rotation resistance can be obtained. SOLUTION: The metal shaft member is provided with at least one projection in diameter direction at its end portion having a narrower width than that of the shaft diameter; at either end portion of the tube shaped portion at the main body side or at the tube portion of the rotation side, a rotation-stop groove for fitting the radial direction projection is formed; and inside a tube shaped member at the non-fixed metal shaft member, a frictional member having frictional contact portions at two or more places parallel to the axis contacting to the shaft portion of the metal shaft member is inserted.
